Our Programs

Swallows and Amazons Early Learning Centre
In our learning environment, there are learning centres specifically developed to address the eight intelligences based on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Children gather together as a whole class to listen to stories, sing songs and share and discuss ideas; smaller groups are used for exploration and discovery tasks.

Extra Curricula Activities (ECAs)
We run a programme of Extra Curricula Activities of ECAs utilising the activities available within walking distance of the Centre.

A Choice Of Sessions

We operate 50 weeks a year: 4 x 10-week academic terms and the other 10 weeks make up our inclusive holiday activity weeks where Swallows and Amazons Early Learning Centre is open as normal or parents may choose to take holiday.

Parents can choose the number of sessions their child attends: from 2 sessions a week to 10 sessions per week, morning and/or afternoons depending on place availability

  • The morning session is from 9am to 12pm. If the children have lunch at school, pick up time is at 12.30pm.
  • The afternoon session is from 1pm to 4pm.
  • The Lunch Club runs from 12.30pm to 1pm. It is available for students attending that morning.
  • Extra Curricula Activities (ECAs) run from 1.15pm to 2pm for the most part.
